This is a compilation of some of my memories and experiences that happened during my teenage years. Start at the begginning of this blog to hear the beginning of my story.

Bright and Sun-shiny Days

I had on the best of the best. {At least at the time.} Shade Sunscreen. It had UVA and UVB protection. uncommon on the sunscreen shelf 10 years ago. And it was about $9 for a little bottle. But I had to have it. On this particular night I was wearing it.
It was the evening, probably a 7-8 o'clock baseball game for my brother. We were at the baseball fields by the city pool....back right one. The sun was setting beautifully, the heat was dying down. It felt beautiful. EXCEPT- I was exceptionally sensitive to sun. My mom urged me to go sit in the shade, of course I moaned, said it was unnecessary, but in the end I could feel the bridge of my nose burning, so I moved my little chair over.

7 o'clock at night

SHADE sunscreen on (45spf with UVA and UVB protection)

a Hat on

sitting in the shade

I blistered like crazy. I was so surprised. So surprised.
